THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCED TECHNICAL DRIVING

The purpose of an advanced driving course is to improve the existing driving skills of a reaction officer through improving his/her ability to handle a vehicle in different driving conditions and emergencies.

The aim of the course is to make the drivers aware of their surroundings and anticipate possible danger situations. If these situations are unavoidable, how to respond according to the situation. Advanced driving focuses on primarily muscle memory but we also give insight into the psycho-emotional of driving.

GENERAL PROCESS

1. The client is contacted and a meeting is set up to find out what the clients specific needs are.
2. Assessment - A qualified assessor will go to the company to do assessment of the driving capabilities of the   drivers. A basic projection of possible future trends is done.
3. The results are discussed and the options available explained. An informed decision is made about the next step.
